[Card Game Art] Young Wyvern

I'll start by telling you what inspired me to do this illustration. I wanted to paint a dragon, but while looking for references I remembered the wyverns, and I think they're a really cool guy, and later I noticed that wyverns remind me of pterosaurs, so I quickly looked for references of Tapejara, the first species that came to my mind, not only because they're cool, but also because they're from Brazil, my country, and BOOM! I started to work on the concept for this little guy.

After working on the concept for a while, I started the project for this artwork. I was looking for something cute, but also intriguing enough to create a connection with the person looking at the illustration. For this project, I tried to make it more character focused rather than having a lot of things going on, big backgrounds and stuff. Working with a more closed canvas was a challenge, but I had fun creating this artwork. So this is the result, I hope you like it. :D
