[Fan Art] Eric Draven from The Crow - PAIN

Hey, what's up?
In this project I bring my vision of the character Eric Draven from The Crow, a graphic novel created by James O'Barr and which a few years later was made into a movie in which the character was played by Brandon Lee.

It took me a long time, but at the end of last year I finally saw the 1994 movie and it instantly became one of my favorite films, so knowing about the Graphic Novel, I bought it to see the story that inspired the film and I also loved the story, the art and knowing everything that surrounds it.

So now I've decided to do this illustration based on this fascinating character. This is the first artwork of two that I'll be doing of Eric Draven. The first one I called “PAIN”, based on an excerpt from the graphic novel.
I chose to start with a memory, to imagine Eric and his fiancée, Shelly Webster, in a happy moment, but with some layers of Storytelling.
That was my main focus here, trying to tell a story that was easy to understand, but with a certain depth.
So this is my little tribute to this incredible character and story.
